Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-04-23

This Privacy Policy describes how Beautifier (the "Service"), reachable at https://beautifier.aidalabs.kr, handles information when you visit or use the site. We have written this document in plain English, with additional notes for users in regulated regions at the end.

1. Data processed in your browser

The JSON, XML, and HTML tools on this site parse and format your input entirely on your own device. The content you paste into the editor is processed inside a dedicated Web Worker in your browser and is not uploaded to our servers. You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools and watching the Network tab while you click Beautify, Minify, or Validate — no request containing your content is sent.

If a future feature requires sending content to a server (for example, a large-file API described in our roadmap), that feature will ask for explicit consent before any upload happens.

2. Access logs we collect

Like almost every web server, ours writes brief access logs for the pages it serves. Each log line contains:

We use these logs for security monitoring (rate-limiting abusive traffic), debugging, and aggregate traffic statistics. Logs are rotated periodically and are not joined with the content you type into the editor.

3. Cookies

The Service uses cookies and similar storage for these limited purposes:

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some preferences (such as dark mode) will simply reset.

4. Third-party advertising (Google AdSense)

This site participates in the Google AdSense program. Third-party vendors, including Google, may show ads on this site and may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

5. Contact form submissions

If you use the contact form, your submission is delivered via FormSubmit, which forwards your message to our email inbox. Your message, email address, and any other fields you fill in are handled by FormSubmit and by our email provider for as long as we retain the correspondence.

6. How long we keep data

7. If you are in the EU / UK (GDPR)

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the Service does not operate accounts and does not store your tool inputs, the data we realistically hold about a visitor is limited to access logs and any contact emails you have sent. You can exercise your rights by emailing facered79@gmail.com.

8. If you are in California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business collects and the right to request its deletion. The Service does not sell personal information. To make a request, email facered79@gmail.com.

9. If you are in Korea

This Service is operated from South Korea. To the extent the Personal Information Protection Act applies, we act as the controller of the limited personal information described above. Access, correction, and deletion requests can be submitted to facered79@gmail.com.

10. Children

The Service is intended for a general developer audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to facered79@gmail.com.
